Thomas Malthus wrote about the increasing population and why it will be a problem. This issue has been taken up by Robert McNamara and Steven Mosher. This is a debate that comes from Taking Sides: Clashing Views on Global Issues: 4th Edition. The question you will attempt to answer is “Should the International Community Attempt to Curb Population Growth in the Developing World?” As you answer the question, you will use the follow questions to develop your answer from the piece you were assigned. Group 1 will defend YES population should be curbed. You need to give a brief synopsis of the article you are assigned to read.
